On Cue Performance Hub is seeking a new Executive Administrator with a strong commitment to the goals of our organization, good financial and organizational management skills and the capacity to manage their time effectively. They will need to collaborate within and coordinate our team of volunteers and interns for the timely and effective delivery of the programs and projects within our performing arts season.

This person will be resident in Regina, and in their planning and day to day efforts, they will embrace and advance On Cue’s values and aspirations for Regina’s performing arts community and its contribution to the broader community.

Responsibilities:
—Managing the organization's finances in conjunction with the bookkeeper, the Treasurer and other members of the Client’s Executive. This will include but not be limited to assisting the Executive in developing annual budgets; providing regular financial reports; paying bills, issuing invoices; securing annual audited statements; monitoring grant, donor and sponsorship funding and reporting to funders.
—Managing day-to-day operations. This will include but not be limited to keeping records according to financial procedures and protocols, developing and maintaining related filing and organizational structures that facilitate access to information as needed by the Steering Committee. It will also include assisting the Executive and other Steering Committee members in coordinating and overseeing OCPH’s annual programming (eg. box office management, booking related spaces and accessibility personnel, etc.);
—Contracting artists and companies supported by the Client and assisting the Executive with mentoring and supervising personnel (including up to 4 interns), artists and companies as appropriate and necessary;
—Supporting the Client’s Steering Committee members in securing private as well as public funding and in-kind contributions at municipal, provincial, and national levels;
—Participation in all Steering Committee meetings and provision of regular written reports as requested by the Client’s Executive;
—Participation in meetings of the Client’s subcommittees as appropriate and requested; with the assistance of the Outreach and Marketing Intern and the Client’s Steering Committee
—In conjunction with the Steering Committee and relevant interns, cultivating positive and productive ongoing relationships with the Client’s communities of interest;
—With the assistance of interns and the Client’s Steering Committee, coordinating and delivering an outreach and marketing program that cultivates a network of volunteers and supporters through timely, regular and integrated communications (newsletters, website and other digital postings, posters, billboards, interviews, blogs, etc);
—Forging organizational and agency partnerships and good working relationships with venues and others integral to On Cue’s community with the assistance of the Client’s Steering Committee;
—Adhering to all of the Client’s established policies, procedures and protocols in undertaking all services and advising on the development of other policies or procedures for the best management of the organization;
—Creating a safe, respectful, and supportive creative and work environment that represents the values of the organization; and
—Other services and tasks mutually agreed upon by the Creative Administrator and the Client.

Qualifications:
On Cue seeks to provide a work environment in which the individuals who work for us can develop their skills and experience while helping to grow and strengthen our organization as a leader in the performing arts community and in particular, its capacity to support the work of artists. We recognize that candidates may not already have all of the following qualifications, but ideally, they will have sufficient grounding in the following areas to build upon:
--An undergraduate degree, preferably in a discipline associated with the performing arts and/or arts administration;
--Strong verbal, writing and electronic communications skills and experience;
--Experience in the management of a non-profit arts organization;
--Experience with financial management, including related electronic management programs;
--Experience in preparing formal contracts and memoranda of agreement as well as management of contracted artists, technicians or other personnel;
--Experience in one or more areas associated with the production of a performing art form;
--Experience working within a non-profit governance structure;
--Familiarity with Regina’s performing arts community.
Other qualifications considered strong additional assets:
--Demonstrated experience in managing websites, box office sales;
--Creative skills such as graphic design (for websites, merchandize, signs and brochures), video editing, etc;
--Fundraising experience such as creating grant applications, soliciting sponsorships, and securing private donations;

Timelines: Interviews of short-listed candidates will take place in November with the successful candidate ideally taking up their position in December 2025 or January 2026.

Compensation: This posting is for a contracted position, which would be renewable upon satisfactory completion of an initial contract. Remuneration will be commensurate with qualifications and responsibilities within a range of $20,000-$25,000 for a year-long contract.

Its mission is to strengthen Regina’s performing arts community, afford greater public access to the full range of performing art forms, and increase the career viability of performing artists. It is committed to programming and practices that raise up emerging artists and artists from marginalized communities (Indigenous peoples, newcomers, people of color, Deaf, disabled, LGBTQ2SP+ people) by providing them with space on Regina stages and professional development opportunities.

We are an artist-run organization with 10 Steering Committee members, two of whom are full-time volunteers for the organization. In addition to the part-time Executive Administrator (contracted for 20 hours/week), we also have four part-time interns (contracted for 20 hours/week).
