Business Operations Assistant

We are growing our Business Operations Team and are looking for a collaborative, curious, and versatile Business Operations Assistant to support and enhance our organizational impact. This dynamic role supports comprehensive administrative and financial activities within the organization, including office operations, financial recording, member and customer service, governance, and organizational efficiency.

What You’ll Do:

Keep the day-to-day finances running smoothly by processing accounts payable and receivable in Business Central.
Be a welcoming first point of contact - answering phones and emails, greeting visitors, and managing mail and shipments.
Keep the office efficient by coordinating purchasing, inventory, and office equipment, and troubleshooting as needed.
Support SPRA’s Member Services by managing membership renewals and maintaining accurate member records.
Manage data entry and database administration, with a strong focus on accuracy, consistency, and data integrity.
You’ll Thrive If You Bring:

A Certificate, Diploma, or Degree in Office Administration, Business, Business Information, a related field of study, or a comparable combination of education and experience.
A minimum of two years relevant/related experience.
Experience working with volunteers, boards and committees in a non-profit organization.
A keen attention to detail and exceptional organizational, time management, editing, problem solving, and written and verbal communications skills.  
An above average proficiency using Microsoft Office Suite.
Experience with Business Central and database software.
