WDM Virtual Coffee Club "The Great Depression"
Grab a cup of coffee and settle in as we explore the WDM collection while you connect and reflect with others on experiences from the past and/or youth.
Sessions will take place via Zoom. You can register for one or for them all! There will be time for questions after the presentation. Each session will take place from 10:00 – 11:00 am unless otherwise indicated. Dates and topics are listed below.
Join us for a time of visiting and learning. There is no cost to attend but pre-registration is required. Registration closes at 8:30 am on the day of the Virtual Coffee Club.
THE GREAT DEPRESSION
Learn about some of the struggles and challenges faced by people in Saskatchewan during the Great Depression. How did we adapt and persevere while facing disaster after disaster? Join us to learn why the 1930s were one of the most pivotal times in our province’s history.
