2023 Rock & Gem Sale by the Prairie Rock & Gem Society
The Rock & Gem Sale by the Prairie Rock & Gem Society is for anyone with an interest in rocks, gems, jewellery, crystals and fossils! Dealers will be selling rocks (polished and raw), crystals, minerals, fossils, beads & gemstones and jewellery. There will also be supplies for jewellery makers, lapidary workers and flint knappers. Show hours are:
Saturday September 16th: 10:00 a.m. – 5:30 p.m. and Sunday September 17th: 10:00 a.m. – 4:00 p.m.
The Prairie Rock & Gem Society is non-profit organization dedicated to the hobby of rocks and lapidary work. Our annual rock show allows members share our love of rocks with the public! Watch demonstrations of rock polishing on our lapidary equipment. Learn how to cut and polish your own stones! Visit the displays of polished rocks made by members! There are also activities for kids - hunt for rock treasures and take home a bag of special stones!
The entry fee is $3 cash per adult (children 12 & under accompanied by an adult are FREE). Most dealers take credit/debit but a few purchases/activities are cash only.
