SCAA After the Wildfires Workshop
Wildfires can be extremely destructive, as are the measures used to combat them. Even though your archives or organization may not have been directly affected by fire, soot and water, they can still be affected by lingering dust and odour. In this ½ day virtual workshop, emergency management specialist and archival conservator Jane Dalley reviews potential post-wildfire threats to you and your collections and discusses human safety, water damage, odour reduction/removal and cleaning.
