Anne of Green Gables - The Ballet
Anne of Green Gables – The Ballet™ is a playful, colourful and evocative
production that will transport audiences to early 20th century Atlantic Canada.
Based on the beloved Canadian Novel by Lucy Maud Montgomery, Anne of Green Gables – The Ballet™ follows the adventures of Anne Shirley, an orphan girl sent to live on a farm in the fictional town of Avonlea, Prince Edward Island.
Canada’s Ballet Jörgen will begin this world premiere tour September 28, 2019 in Halifax, Nova Scotia. The Saskatoon performance will be one of 40-plus stops on a two-year North American tour.
Canada’s Ballet Jörgen is the first ballet company to be authorized by the heirs of author Lucy Maude Montgomery in creating Anne of Green Gables as a full-length ballet.
