International Day for Tolerance
November 16
Adopted by the United Nations in 1996, November 16 marks the anniversary of the adoption of the Declaration of Principles on Tolerance by UNESCO member states on November 16, 1995. The day serves as a day of respect, acceptance and appreciaton of the diversity of cultures and forms of expression.
