World Day of Romani Language

Proclaimed by UNESCO in 2015, November 5 marks the World Day of Romani Language. Growing out of a recognition of the date in Croatia in 2008, it was offically celebrated during the World Symposium for Standardization and Codification of Romani Language in 2009.
