Western Development Museum

The Western Development Museum (WDM) is the museum of social and economic history for the province of Saskatchewan. It consists of four exhibit branches in Moose Jaw, North Battleford, Saskatoon and Yorkton, with headquarters and the Curatorial Centre in Saskatoon. Each branch offers a unique aspect of our history: North Battleford's Heritage Farm & Village WDM depicts both farm and village aspects of pioneer life; Moose Jaw's WDM is the History of Transportation; Saskatoon's WDM captures the atmosphere and style of the bustling 1910 Boomtown period; and the Yorkton WDM has recreated the times and styles of some of the many immigrants who settled in western Canada.
