Town of Assiniboia
The rural Town of Assiniboia has 2,489 residents and is in the heartland of Southwestern Saskatchewan. It is located an hour south of Moose Jaw along Highway 2 and an hour and a half from Regina. The Town resides and is an active member of the Southwest District for Culture, Recreation and Sport.
The Department of Leisure & Community Wellness Services is charged with developing and encouraging the growth of all cultural heritages by assisting a variety of community groups and activities in Town and in the region.
