Multi-Faith Saskatchewan
Multi-Faith Saskatchewan (MF Sask.) is a provincial body that came into existence in November 2006, as a legacy of a provincial centennial project that was undertaken by Regina Multi-Faith Forum in 2005. MF Sask. is an organization with a unique mandate and is one of a kind in Western Canada. The concept of multi-faith exists primarily as a vehicle to facilitate understanding and appreciation of one another. A principle of multi-faith is that no one religion can claim superiority to another nor impose its beliefs on another. As Saskatchewan is rapidly experiencing the growth of many cultures and religions, the work of multi-faith organizations is significant. The specific goal of MF Sask. is to form, help and support the growth of local multi-faith groups throughout the province. Each group will provide their own programming and education suitable to the needs of that community.
