Doré Lake & Sled Lake Métis Festival
We are proposing a Métis Festival to be held July 29th & 30th, 2023 at Doré Lake & Sled Lake, SK. The event will be open to the public, focusing on Métis culture and the local communities.
We hope to have individuals share some of the local histories and others share their talents with the attendees. Ideally, we would like to have displays set up promoting the past and present Métis presence.
We intend for the cultural and community activities to unite people to share and support our unique Métis heritage.
