Band in the Park - Saskatoon

Come out and join community members, musicians, and friends to play some great music and have a lot of fun doing it!!!

Play with director Emmett Fortosky, featuring new music for 2025!

Band musicians of all ages and abilities are invited to simply drop-in and play some fan favourite music in the park! This is NOT a concert, but a chance to play with friends and fellow musicians in a relaxed setting. Band in the Park is open to band students AND adult community band musicians.

Interested? Simply register/RSVP to access the sheet music download link!

Participants will need to download and print their music, bring their own chairs, music stand (if you have one), clothes peg/clip to hold music on your stand and of course your instrument. Band in the Park is a drop-in program - we want to maximize the FUN and minimize the set up! Let your family, friends and neighbours know about Band in the Park - a free, casual opportunity to hear fun music on a summer evening.

What to Expect?

Play some fan favourite songs together like "Firework" by Katy Perry and some other well known numbers.
Play and connect with local band musicians in the community in a relaxed setting
Enjoy playing in a fun, and casual environment!
NOTE: This event is weather dependent. Band in the Park will be rescheduled to Thursday July 10th if there is inclement weather. If there is still poor weather on Thursday, the event will be cancelled. So let's hope for sun & no wind...or bugs!
