Advocacy comes in all shapes and sizes. Sometimes, all it takes is one educator with the commitment to give children a way to embrace and understand their culture through music.
Through the Bayanihan Filipino Arts and Culture Club, youth in the Yorkton area have a space to engage with their culture while helping to preserve and promote Filipino identity.
With about ten participants at a time, the program has a big impact on kids, their families, and their community.
