On Cue Performance Hub is Regina’s newest non-profit organization in the performing arts. Its mission is to strengthen Regina’s performing arts community, afford greater public access to these art forms, and increase the career viability of performing artists.

On Cue Performance Hub is committed to policies and practices that put people first and protect the safety and wellbeing of On Cue's staff, volunteers, and community of artists and cultural workers.

On Cue Performance Hub’s Creative Administrator will be the chief administrator for the organization. As a full-time contracted employee, the Administrator will work with the OCPH Steering Committee to realize the organization’s mission, objectives, and vision. In their planning and day to day efforts, they will embrace and advance On Cue’s values and aspirations for Regina’s performing arts community and its contribution to the broader community.

Responsibilities:
– Manage day-to-day operations;
- Advise the Steering Committee and subcommittees regarding initiatives and policies;
- Participate in committee meetings and provide regular written reports;
- Support and mentor On Cue artists and companies;
- Implement and oversee communications, promotions, and marketing strategies (including the website, box office, merchandising and on demand components)
- Cultivate an ongoing relationship with sponsors;
- Oversee the organization's finances and liaise with the Chair and Treasurer to develop annual budgets, provide regular financial reports, secure annual audited statements, and monitor and report on grant and sponsorship funding;
- In consultation with the Steering Committee, plan and oversee OCPH’s annual programming;
- Develop and secure contracts and memoranda of agreement with artists and companies supported by OCPH;
- Hire, contract, and supervise staff, contract personnel, and interns;
- Work with the Executive to secure private as well as public funding at municipal, provincial, and national levels;
- With the Steering Committee, cultivate a network of volunteers and supporters, organizational and agency partners and good working relationships with venues and others integral to On Cue’s community;
- Create a safe, respectful, and supportive creative and work environment that represents the values of the organization;
- Perform other duties as assigned by the Steering Committee.

Qualifications:
On Cue aspires to create a mentorship environment in which our Creative Administrator is supported in acquiring the skills and experience that will empower them to not only lead our organization but also become a leader in our performing arts community. We recognize that candidates may not already have all of the following qualifications, but ideally they will have:
- An undergraduate degree, preferably in a discipline associated with the performing arts;
- Experience in one or more areas associated with the production of a performing art form;
- Experience in the management of a non-profit arts organization;
- Experience working within a non-profit governance structure;
- Strong verbal, writing and electronic communications skills and experience;
- Demonstrated experience in managing websites, box office sales, merchandizing and materials for on demand release;
- Creative skills such as graphic design (for websites, merchandize, signs and brochures), video editing, etc;
- Fundraising experience such as creating grant applications, soliciting sponsorships, and securing private donations;
- Experience with financial management, including related electronic management programs;
- Experience in preparing formal contracts and memoranda of agreement as well as management of contracted artists, technicians or other personnel;
- Familiarity with Regina’s performing arts community.

Compensation:
This is a one-year contract, possibly renewable. Remuneration will be commensurate with qualifications, within the limitations of available funding.
