DSI is hiring a Dance Library and Information Coordinator for a four week contract to help organize and disseminate our library resources and materials.
Dance Saskatchewan Inc. is organizing our library resources to be able to offer themed library sets to schools and libraries across the province. With this, DSI will no longer house our library materials. Members will be able to access relevant materials through an order system. We are looking for someone to lead the organization of the DSI materials to ensure schools, libraries, and community spaces are offered appropriate and relevant dance resources.
Prior experience in schools, libraries, dance, or performing arts is an asset.
DSI welcomes applicants from all backgrounds and will work to ensure a safe-space for all.
Position start date: August 3rd, 2022 (Can be negotiated)
Position end date: August 31st, 2022 (can be negotiated)
Hours: 37.5 hours per week.

Requirements:
-Must be able to lift 50lbs.
-Must have an understanding of dance or the performing arts.
-Must have an understanding of various reading levels.
-Must be able to operate a scanner and a label machine. Training can be offered to those who do not have prior experience with these machines.
-Grade 12 education or equivalent
