The Western Development Museum - Corporate Office in Saskatoon is seeking a Programs Manager to oversee all WDM programming and WDM led events, ensuring they are dynamic, high quality and effectively engage people with Saskatchewan’s diverse histories.

The Programs Manager will be responsible for:
• Overseeing the development and evaluation of educational resources and programs for diverse audiences at all WDM locations and for community outreach.
• Overseeing the development and evaluation of all WDM led events.
• Regularly reviewing school programs to ensure they meet curriculum requirements, audience needs, and the WDM strategic direction.
• Regularly reviewing public programs and events to ensure they meet audience needs, the WDM strategic direction, and fiscally sound.
• Leading the organization and administration of WDM training courses. (e.g. blacksmithing, steam traction engine operation)
• Managing the documentation, tracking, care, use, and disposal of artifacts from the non-accessioned Hands-On Collection in programming and outreach.
• Sharing programming knowledge and enthusiasm for WDM programming internally and externally. (e.g., through blogs, programs, publications, conferences, etc.).
• Compiling reports on programming and event activities and ensuring statistics and participation is tracked appropriately.
