The WDM North Battleford is seeking a Grounds Assistant for a summer position. The Grounds Assistant’s main responsibility will be to support the maintenance of the grounds and equipment. The Grounds Assistant will ensure that the grounds are esthetically pleasing and safe for visitors. They will also assist with the set-up of special events and functions.
DUTIES:
Grounds maintenance including:
• Trim caragana hedge, trees and shrubs.
• Cut grass that tractor cannot reach with a push mower.
• Weed and water flowers and trees.
• Plant, weed, water and maintain garden.
Special Events and Programming
• Assist with the set-up and dismantling of special events and programs held in the Museum.
• Assist with artifact and exhibit security.
• Assist with garbage cleanup and maintaining cleanliness of the grounds.
