The WDM North Battleford is seeking someone to fill the position of weekend receptionist/visitor services.
This position works cooperatively with all members of the Customer Service Team to create a positive Museum experience that includes a welcoming Museum atmosphere, providing exceptional reception and gift shop services, and assisting with Museum programs and rentals as requested. This is primarily a weekend position with the Western Development Museum - North Battleford. Employees work under the general direction of the Manager.
Duties and Responsibilities:
• Operation of the Museum’s reception area and Gift Shop.
• Opening / closing duties.
• Process admission, memberships, and gift shop sales.
• Provide visitor service information for guests (in person or by phone).
• Stock taking and inventory control of merchandise.
• Maintenance of reception area, Gift Shop, staff, and rental areas including cleaning and other light housekeeping duties.
• Basic maintenance and cleaning of gallery exhibit areas.
• General office and other duties as assigned.
Conditions:
• Approximately 60 - 70 hours per month. Hours 9:00 am to 5:30 pm (8 paid hours per day worked)
• Salary $13.00 an hour
