Yorkton Tribal Council will be hosting a celebration at 63 King Street East for National Indigenous Peoples Day on Saturday, June 21st!
The day will begin at 9:00am with a pipe ceremony, followed later by the Grand Entry and opening comments taking place at 12:30pm. Cultural and family activities will be taking place from 1:00pm to 5:00pm, followed by a free BBQ and a presentation by Cadmus Delorme from 5:00pm to 6:00pm, and evening entertainment from 6:00pm to 10:00pm closing with a fireworks show at 10:15pm in Jubilee Park.
During the day there will be a bannock baking contest and a "We've Got Talent" showcase; sign up details are included in the attached posters.
Reconciliation Yorkton will be in attendance from 11:00am to 5:00pm! We hope you can come out and join us in celebrating the day!
