The Mann Art Gallery is delighted to present a special cultural workshop exploring the art of Métis Pointillism with accomplished artist Jennifer Brown. This hands-on evening invites participants to discover the history and techniques of this distinctive painting style, create their own artwork to take home, and enjoy a welcoming, creative atmosphere.
In addition to the workshop, guests will be treated to a selection of traditional appetizers, making it a lively and engaging night out with friends.

Grounded within the boreal fringe ecozone on Treaty 6 Territory, SOLO’s work emphasizes the interconnected relationship between Indigenous peoples and their traditional territories. Their practice supports sustenance hunting and foraging through architectural design, drawing on land-based knowledge and traditions passed down through generations. With a deep respect for northern landscapes, SOLO’s approach honours ancestral ingenuity while striving to leave a positive impact on the lands and communities they serve.
