Pathways home - a history of Aaniiih (The White Clay People/People of the Whitemud)

Join Dr. Sean Chandler in a relaxed reconciliation experience as he recounts history and migration of Aaniiih (The White Clay People) (Gros Ventre) who’s traditional lands once included the Whitemud Valley.

In paying homage to ‘those who walked these lands before’, Sean will share stories of his people, linking past to present as life comes in a full circle.

Dr. Chandler, is also a member of the International Buffalo Relations Board and signatory to the Buffalo Treaty, will be available for questions in English and in Aaniiih. https://www.buffalotreaty.com/

As an accomplished professional artist & language teacher Dr. Sean Chandler is also the President of Aaniiih Nakoda College, Fort Belknap, MT. and will shine light on an array of educational pathways.
